Welcome Back, Anthony Reyes!

Congratulations to Anthony Reyes for regaining eligiblity as the worst pitcher in the major leagues this year!

Reyes, who is 0-10 with a 6.40 ERA in 12 starts this year, has spent the last three weeks in AAA Memphis. After laying an egg in his first start back on the farm, Reyes rebounded with a couple of decent outings.

Reyes' reward? A chance to worsen his abysmal record!

With the pitching corps looking awfully thin these days, the Cardinals figured they could do worse than Reyes for a spot start this weekend. That's what I call being in the right place at the right time.

Reyes should expect a phone call from Jose Contreras, thanking him for reclaiming the "worst" label. Then again, they do play in separate leagues.

I should have something more intelligent to add to this, but I am just going to say it straight. I hate St. Louis. I hate Tony La Russa, his cheating, his drunk-driving, and his ridiculous sun glasses at night. I hate the cushy cuddly fans. They also produced Tim McCarver.

I remember when Reyes was a really good prospect for the Cards (then again, that was like last year)... but man, he has just been atrocious.

I can't believe how far Reyes has fallen since that dominating Game 1 World Series start.

I have been reading your blog for sometime now, and I have added your blog to the list of links on my site, The Sports Lounge. The URL is dailysportsinfo.blogspot.com. I was wondering if you could do the same.

Thanks

Alright, let's declare a pitcher the worst because of W/L and ERA!

Dude's gotten 20 runs of support in 15 games and has a 4.67 FIP.

Maybe you should write about something other than baseball. Anyway, keep up the good work!
